Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles attraction opened at Dream Island Moscow in March 2020. I had the chance to animate the turtle assets that were used in Nickelodeon's Animated series from 2011. The rides use projections with animated content that the crowd can, in some instances, interact with.

In the interactive Dojo attraction, children have to learn and repeat the moves from the Turtles to "attack" the foes that are running towards them on a large screen. At first we thought the Turtles would be attacking the Footclan soldiers in the same style as the animated tv series. We later received filmed choreography that was more kid-friendly.

In the "Drop Ride" ride animated content was produced to tell a story. This is the battle section of the ride, Kraangdroids are fighting the turtles to seize a remote control.

In the Dojo ride, Footclan soldiers run across large screens on the sides of the room, on the main screen, they run up to the foreground and attack the spectators.

In the Dojo Ride, this is what is shown on the main screen. This section is when the Turtles overpower the hoard of footclan soldiers.
